Both records and categories can be authorized so that certain users or user groups cannot access them. This can be used to protect personal data, for example.

Despite extensive options, authorizations are structured in a very clear, logical manner, and are easy to use. New categories and records automatically inherit the authorizations of the category above them. These can, of course, be manually amended if required. In this case, the authorizations are transferred to all categories and records below the category in question.
Entries and categories can be authorized as follows:
| Authorization | Description |
|---|---|
| Full access | No restrictions. |
| New but not delete | New records and categories can be created and edited. No deletion rights. |
